I’m a freelance writer, editor, and designer.

I cut my teeth writing at a health care trade publication with strict daily deadlines. Now my day job’s as a content designer at a Fortune 500 company. When I do freelance writing I look for:

• content for tabletop RPG books (classes, monsters, magic items, and especially adventures)
• guest blog posts, like my Roll20 blog post about running a hybrid in-person/remote D&D campaign
• op/eds and feature pieces. Credits include ad tracking and my mom’s toothpaste for the Daily Mail‘s Mail+, or tech in tabletop RPGs for Dicebreaker about tech in tabletop RPGs
• pop culture critiques of shows, movies, books, and games on my Substack

I offer developmental, evaluation, and content editing, as well as line editing, copyediting, and proofreading. (What’s the difference?) In the past I’ve edited:

• novel manuscripts
• tabletop RPG books, cover-to-cover
• resumes, like this one

Rates

Contact me to talk about rates. On some projects, I’ve earned royalties; on other projects, I’ve been paid per word.
